We are a harder-riding group offering half-day rides to coffee and back. Riding time is approximately 4 hours, at an average of around 14mph, a little slower if we head for the hills. With the all-important coffee stop lasting around 30 minutes, we usually return to the start point by around 1.30pm. Distances vary between 45-65 miles, with longer rides in the summer and shorter routes in the winter when fitness levels trend lower.
We make sure everyone is fully supported in the event of punctures or mechanicals, and if the group splits up on a hill then we re-group at the top. No-one gets left behind, we make sure everyone gets back home.
In the event we cancel a ride due to safety concerns we will e-mail by 8.00 am to notify you. You can join our email list, and if you enclose your telephone number, we will invite you to our WhatsApp group as well.
