Difficulty Level: Easy | Speed: Easy paced | Distance: 20 miles
This ride takes place on Saturday and is completely informal. It is not a club ride and not ‘led’ as a formal club ride. The route (see below) is designed to encourage beginners but joined in by all abilities and was started many years ago by Terry Walsh, who was our much-loved local CTC Wessex Chairman. The ride goes to ‘The Old Farmhouse Tearooms’ in Burley most Saturday mornings depending on the weather. It is a well-known meeting point and route for all cyclists in the New Forest and surrounding area.
This is a very sociable cycle ride for everyone and is an ideal way to get fit before you decide whether you want to join our club and participate in any of our longer rides.
