Awarded for most Attendance on club runs each year. It had a false start, was awarded sporadically at times when records were incomplete and discontinued after 1994. It was re-instituted in 2008 as the Tourist Shield.  Awarded for the highest placed local rider in the CTC Tourist Competition (DATC).

2016 – Graham Dore with his blind stoker Steve Bateman receives the Tourist Shield in 2016 for his 100 cols ride of 4081km on their tandem. They raised over £2400 for their charity.

2017 – David Smethurst – London-Edinburgh -London

2018 – Tristram, together with friends, rode from Vancouver south along the Pacific Coast to the Mexican Border, a distance of over 1800 miles. He raised money for Julia’s House.

2019 – Undertaking a 27 day tour with 1263 miles and 71808’ of climbing. Also for support of the CBC
